We have conducted scores of destination and community branding and marketing projects in North America.

The following projects were for overseas national governments.

Emirate of Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
GDS worked with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority to develop a strategic approach for cultivating the  growing cruise industry activity in the Arabian Gulf. Strategies were explored for both visiting and homeported cruise ships, shore excursion development and cruise terminal development.

In the early 80s as China was opening its doors to the West, we consulted with the National Tourism Administration of the People's Republic of China on tourism marketing, and conducted a reconnaissance of some of their major destinations. Tourism directors from 29 provinces attended our workshops.

In the early 1990s we consulted to the Australian Tourist Commission on their North American Marketing Program, putting into place innovative metrics for measuring awareness and conversion rates from their print and broadcast advertising.

Fiji Islands
We managed the brand identity of the Fiji Islands in the North American market for four years.

We  managed the brand identity of Samoa in the North American market for several years, themed as the "Cradle of Polynesia", Samoa is thought to be the origin of the Polynesian culture.
